I am El Houcine El Fatimi, a postdoctoral researcher working with Dr. Edward Marti at Washington University in St. Louis in the Department of Cell Biology and Physiology since July 2025. My research focuses on developing deep learning and computational imaging frameworks for biomedical applications, particularly in next-generation ultrasound imaging, computational pathology, and uncertainty quantification in AI models. My background work integrates generative and predictive AI, with a focus on creating interpretable and explainable systems that enhance model effectiveness, safety, and clinical utility. I have experience in designing end-to-end AI pipelines, generative models, and multimodal clinical data integration, with applications ranging from cancer diagnostics to vaccine development.
